The Up and Coming Business Men and Women You Need to Look Out for in 2018

No! Mark Cuban is not in this article. Frankly he's about as up and coming as his Mavs... But I do have some awesome newcomers that are making a splash.

Gary Vaynerchuk

This guy is an inspiration. He has one goal: own the New York Jets. Why anyone would want to own that dumpster fire? I don't know but that's his goal. His net worth weighs in at about 200 million dollars and he's in everything. He took his family's wine business from $3 million dollars to $60 million dollars. He has his own show on Apple Music called Planet of the Apps. Similar to Sharktank, people present their apps and the judges (including Jessica Alba, Gweneth Paltro, and Will.I.Am.) make investments in the apps/software. Gary's biggest success has been the advent of social media. Using Youtube, he created and enhanced his brand to him becoming one of the biggest Startup successes out there.


Katrina Lake

Gary is great, but Katrina is no slouch. Getting her company to be worth 1.9 Billion (yes billion) dollars, this rising star in the business world is looking to take over clothes. CEO of Stitch Fix, Katrina is an innovator. Taking on a saturated industry that has been dominated by clothing behemoths such as H&M, Gap, Nike, and Nordstrom, she has excelled in a new, fresh way. Katrina while persuing PreMed at Stanford, decided she preferred Ecconomics. She said she's always been risk-averse but she ended up getting her bachelors there and a MB at Harvard. While in school she realized the desire for personal convenience that consumers have and started working on Stitch Fix to fill that void. From there she worked to become the innovator and resilient business woman we know her as today and she's not done yet.

Elon Musk

Can this guy get out of the news? Elon Musk is the owner of some things you might of heard of like..... idk Tesla Motors....? Space X? Solar City????? Yeah he's a big deal. And he is innovating into the future faster than anyone else. Net worth: 20.4 Billion. I could talk about him all day but I'll keep it real short. 1. Telsa has made electric cars desireable, relatively afordable, and reliable. They're currently working on self-driving cars, Semis, and lightning-fast supercars. 2. Space X is going to put people on the moon again. They're going to be the only private company so far to do it. 3. Solar has big potential. More $$ for him. Elon Musk is into things that only the future have in store and he's making billions in the process. Oh ya and he put a freaking Tesla in space.
